Background
Written by sister Sahar Syed from Pakistan, with editing by Mujahidul Huq and Labbayk. This unique nasheed focuses on the Du’a (Supplication) Muslims make to the one and only Lord, Allah, in asking Him for forgiveness and gaining closeness to Him. The nasheed emphasises shedding ones tears to their Lord for all the sins and mistakes that we have done in life and a chance to get back on the right path of truth and peace by repenting to our one and only Lord who is All-Merciful Oft-Forgiving. For surely, Allah mentions in the Qur’an “Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find peace”. As Muslims we should always be God-conscious and be wary of our actions in this world and live a life of piety and spread the message of peace, the final religion from God Almighty, Islam.
